Summer's End Festival starts to announce bands

The Summers End Festival to be held at Lydney Town Hall, Gloucestershire on October 8,9 and 10, 2010, have started announcing some bands for the fest ... and it's not a bad start. Phideaux, Unitopia and The Watch will all appear over the weekend as will Ark (John Jowitt). Obviously further announcements to come, I think they have 11 bands on over the Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Stephen Lambe who is also a director of the CRS runs the fest.

My wife says I can go (I'm under the thumb !!), it's looking like its worth the 170 mile drive so let hope to get down there.

2009 website has not been updated, but have a look to see who was on last year. http://www.summersend.co.uk/

I can't say that I've heard of the 'Summer's End' festival but it certainly sounds like a worthwhile event. Even better is that you've got a 'green card' and can go.

In all honesty, I haven't caught a 'proper' gig or a festival in a while now - one of the pitfalls of living in the Channel Islands.
