Website alignment in Firefox - noted and fixed !!
23rd Jan, 2008 at 11:01pm

All,

I'm aware of the glitch with the new-look website not centering properly in the Firefox web-browser. I hope to have this resolved by the forthcoming weekend.

Apologies to all Firefox users. Roll Eyes

That's odd. I'm using Firefox and it looks fine to me.

You beat me to it mate !! Wink

I've rectified the 'glitch' when viewing the new-look pages in Firefox and all should now be fine. However, please let me know if you notice anything else unusual - in particular when viewing the site in Firefox or any other browser other than IE

The problem occurred after I had done some testing on how the new-look pages were displayed at different screen resolutions. It didn't look as I expected at some of the lower resolution settings, so I made some last minute alignment changes but ... forgot to test them in Firefox !! Embarrassed

Anyway, all now appears to be ok.

Enjoy.

There was a lot going on last night, website server re-boots, lots of uploading and other fiddling around.

Cheers and let me know if you experience anything else 'weird' !! Roll Eyes

Now that you say, there is an ugly looking frame on the front page holding the last 5 played songs. It can scroll down just a tad and doesn't seem to be worth it unless there's more to come.

Good spot !!

Again, it looks totally fine in IE but not in Firefox. I believe it to be worth it as there's obviously some meaty song lengths occasionally. However, I'm working on a fix for Firefox as I type ...

I swapped between the "black" and the forum default skins and the text over the avatar thing goes away in the black skin. Maybe that's because the text is white out of the black avatar background. I'll revert back to my ELP avatar. Grin

I would say that had to do with the size of the Avatar itself.

Anyway, the forum hasn't been upgraded or modified in any way ... yet !! Wink Cool
