Hi there DC!!

Not familiar with Kansas!!--WOW!!
Ever heard "Point of no return", "Dust in the wind", "Carry on wayward son"??
Toss that crap out!!!

Try "Pinnacle", "Mysteries and Mayhem", "Icarus-Born on Wings of Steel","Magnum Opus"--Want some hard core blues?--"Lonely Street"!!!

These are all mostly on the first 4-5 record albulms.--More good there as well!!---You'll like!!!

KANSAS in Topeka, Kansas on 1-18-08---PAT METHENY soon on the Missouri side not far from here.---A Homecoming of sorts for both!!!---Looking forwards to these shows.

                                                          Good evening!!!!!--Thanks!!---Brent

No offence Progmaster Wink

I was surprised too  Smiley that you never were familar........

For me. "Lonely Wind (Piano Solo)"  from  the "Two for the Show "  was a very moving piece that has stuck

with me over the years and I think forever.

Cheers

Dave

I totally agree on the songs listed such as "Pinnacle", "Mysteries and Mayhem", "Icarus-Born on Wings of Steel","Magnum Opus". i would add another very good track from the Kansas guys, "Miracles out of Nowhere". Livgren managed to infuse a fugue in the middle of the song. The original is far better than any later versions of it.
