WOW Shocked
You've been a busy lad! And I thought I listened to alot of music Huh
Is that a random list or is #1 the best and so forth..?

The only others I can think of now would be:

Ozric Tentacles - The Yumyum Tree
Afterglow - Wobbler
Huuro Kolkko - Alamaailman Vasarat
Beacons of Ancestorship - Tortoise
The Pariah, the Parrot, the Delusion - dredg

also looking forward to the new Jaga Jazzist out in January

..apart from that, I've been living in the past Wink Grin

Porcupine Tree -- The Incident

This has to be my favorite of 2009.

But in fact, thanks to Darran and SA, I've been re-turned-on to some new prog that has added some fantastic audio to my life, including many of the pre-2009 "Porky Tree" and others.

Life is good! Happy New Year! Peace!

Frequency - IQ. Am I the only person who thinks that, apart from the first track, it's not that good?

Seven, by Phideaux, is excellent. I'm not sure what else came out this year since I've been discovering all sorts of bands this year.

Probably Alan, everybody's got their own opinion, I like the album quite a lot. Saw IQ on Saturday in South Yorkshire and they gave a mighty fine concert supported by Anne-Marie Helder (Panic Room vocalist)

Sorry I missed Phideaux when they came through near here --  my friends who saw them liked them quite a bit. Have liked the Decemberists material that I've heard quite a bit. Not sure I've heard anything from the new Wobbler, but have really dug material from Hinterland. Great lists, guys, to help guide our explorations, thanks!

A lot of people have recommended this album ("On A Perfect Day" - Guilt Machine), the fact that I don't particularly like Prog Metal has put me off getting it but I may try it.

The Tangent's "Down And Out In Paris and London" has also done well in end of year polls.
