new UK by UK resissue, remastered by Eddie Jobson

Eddie Jobson's new remaster of the eponymous UK debut album of 1978 sounds really good. I can't compare it with previous remasters for CD, as prior to the current reissue I've heard it only on vinyl.

Got it from Amazon for only $13.99.  They've got an MP3 of it available for download at $8.99! I've been enjoying the disc tremendously, playing it over and over!

I post this information in hopes that someone else here may be interested...

Dan, thanks!  That album hit me so hard when it first came out.  I think I must have listened 1000's of times.  But listening now it sounds somewhat flat and washed with reverb.  I hope the new remaster is more current sounding and crisp.

Yeah, I listened to it a lot as an LP. I'm quite sure I listened to it at least once under special conditions [ Smiley and it held up well. I haven't listened to any of the other CD remasters than this recent Jobson one, which I think (obvously) sounds great. It's nice to have your company in our appreciation of the original work, at least at the time of its appearance....
