Hi there bassie - good to see you online again.

Actually, there is already a 'Shout Box' mod (modification / enhancement) available for YaBB version 2.4, although this is still in a Beta release. It depends what your actual request is, I suppose. Whilst the addition of this mod is certainly do-able, from what I have read it is relatively large and complicated to install.

However, as mentioned, I'm already looking to have certain elements of the forum displayed on the main page of the website and ideally, I think that a 'Shout Box' would best be displayed there rather than simply within the forum itself.

In the meantime, please feel free to comment on the 'currently playing track' within the thread of the same name.

Have no fear, a 'Shout Box' will be considered when I look at the next batch of mods to add to the forum. Again, please bear in mind that this mod in particular is 'a biggie' and will take even more manual time than normal to install.

In the meantime, I'm concentrating on adding new music, now that I have the extra storage capacity and enhancing the music and programming.

I'll report back about this when I have time.
