Last night, my favourite radio station in the Netherlands had to stop broadcasting on the FM band, as they were unable to bring up the ridiculous high amount the government asks for licenses.

Sorry for Arrow Classic Rock. There are now no more ether-broadcasting radio station in the Netherlands anymore on the FM band.

I have mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, they didn't deserve any better, as they broadcasted shit like U2 and Coldplay on a (very) regular basis, forcing me to switch stations, but on the other hand, it was the only station that chose good music on a wider scale and didn't talk through all songs. As there are no real alternatives, I'm going to miss them.
