Error Messages When Sending A PM ? - Fixed !!

All,

There is a minor issue where occasionally an error message (such as 'unable to open xxx.txt') occurs when replying to a private message from another member of the forum. This is to do with file locking on the server and is currently under investigation. In the meantime, the suggested workaround is to send a new message as opposed to replying to the original message. Any questions please let me know.

I will post here once this has been resolved.

All,

I'm delighted to let you know that the problem with the annoying error message occasionally appearing when sending a PM ('Private Message') to another member of the forum has now been fixed. I know that this was frustrating, as if it did occur, the PM would subsequently be lost and have to be re-typed ...

Many thanks to the lovely JaneEyre for testing this code-fix by bouncing numerous PMs back and forth to myself. Also, thumbs up to the ever-friendly and helpful YaBB Developers for providing the code.
