Went to see the mighty Opeth and they were incredible. Yes they were loud (very!). Yes they were heavy (brutal). And the sound quality was superb. The vocals were upfront and crystal clear. Musicianship was second to none. Opeth also have a gentler side, which because of the exellent sound quality is not lost in the live environment. Mikael Åkerfeldt is a great frontman with a very dry sense of humour, and despite the heavyness of the music, between songs he talks quietly and unassumingly to the crowd. Unlike some rock frontmen who find the need to shout at the crowd.

Great gig!
