Fish - "Boston Tea Party"

This was originally done by the Scottish band The Sensational Alex Harvey Band (nothing like being modest) not the Kinks, Darran.

Alex passed away a few years ago, I saw them a couple of times at Sheffield City Hall, they had a strange guy on guitar who was a bit like Marcel Marceau in a jesters costume !!!!! hmmm long time ago.

5. Night of the Prog Festival

It took this young festival only 4 editions to raise to one of the leading progressive rock festivals in Europe - or probably even the world. The 4rd Night Of The Prog Festival in 2008 had more than 4.000 attending fans.

Next to the music and bands that have taken part at the festival editions, the main reason for the success is simply the location! The UNESCO world heritage Loreley is one of the most outstanding open air amphitheaters in Europe. High above the river Rhine, the visitors are overwhelmed by the beautiful surrounding area.

By this outstanding ambiente we continue to establish the festival as the "Mekka of Progressive Rock". The hightlights of the past 3 years have been for sure the appearances of Fish, ASIA, Jethro Tull, Roger Hodgson, Steve Hackett, Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze - to name a few.

The tradition to supply a stage for young and emerging artists is one of our major tasks. To give them the chance to play in front of thousands of people will definitely help to create a career.

On September 03rd and 04th 2010 the V. NOTP Festival will take place for its anniversary fifth time.

We are proud to announce for the for the first time MARILLION. They do perform on Satruday 4th of September. Further confirmed acts are ARS NOVA and MOONGARDEN. More to folllow in the next days.

Whats with Marillion and Germany this year ? they are at Night of the Prog in September and are also supporting Deep Purple throughout November in Germany.
