They aren't as well known as some of their contemporaries but there's such a strong feeling of Beatle's Sgt Peppers & Rolling Stones' Their Satanic Majesties Request, it's quite uncanny ! Good to hear that you enjoyed the tracks from 'S.F. Sorrow', Jim. An excellent album and the first 'Rock Opera' ever recorded. Released in 1968, it certainly has that psychedelic vibe going on. Cool

In agreement with you, Jim, regarding the value of SF Sorrow as well as what other music it's kin to...

Pretty Things' PARACHUTE was Rolling Stone Magazine's Best Album of 1970 up against some pretty stiff competition, and was no doubt rather low in sales and general recognition compared to other albums awarded RS's Best of Year!
