Hey Darran, I forgot to mention that I really appreciated all the information about Harvest and Hipgnosis that you shared with us earlier.

Check this relatively new (Dec 2008) book out, I'm not sure if you mentioned it, For the Love of Vinyl: The Album Art of Hipgnosis, available for only $30 on Amazon:

Hey Darran, really appreciate your weaving all that information about The Pretty Things' PARACHUTE (a favorite of mine) and Norman Smith and so forth into your broadcast!

Yezda Urfa's BORIS does have an entry on Amazon, but it's listed as "Currently unavailable.
We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock."

Darran, I don't know what you mean by "HMV"!

When I get the urge, I enjoy talking between songs. It doesn't happen very often but glad that it's appreciated. 'HMV' is an international music, video, DVD etc. store. Btw, dialing "411" on the telephone anywhere in the United States connects one with Information or directory. So, when I say "thanks for the 411", I mean "thanks for the information." You'd apparently figured that out, but I wasn't sure you knew where it came from.

Turns out Rockadrome does take Paypal, so I've no concern about ordering from them.

Wow, that's very good to know about the 32K AAC Plus alternative. I never have any problems with such streams with Windows Media Player (obviously I've got the plug-in you mentioned).

I've never tried to use the AAC stream here, merely because the button for it says "Dial-up" and I'm using a Broadband (DSL) connection!
