Yes, I was sarcastic.
Do you really like the Roger Water's solo stuff ? For me Roger Water's solo stuff equals MUTE, like for you its Radiohead. I think there is stuff for every taste on the play list, and its great because I like approx. 98% of the music on SA, which I think is REALLY good. Thats my opinion.
Yes I do. I like Gilmour much more than Waters.
It's all a matter of taste. Sometimes the voice is good/bad, sometime the music is good/bad, and every possible mix. Sometimes the voice is so bad (for me that includes Thom Yorke and Bono) that even if the music is good, I cannot stand the sound of the band (U2 and Radiohead). Sometimes it is the other way around (cannot come up with a good example).
We're lucky to have DJ's here that make a collection heard that is sometimes new (I've heard new great bands here I never heard of before, like Spontanious Combustion and Caravan), old (who else plays Camel and van der Graaf Generator on a regular basis) or well-known (Genesis, Pink-Floyd).
It is obvious that whatever collection you play it will never please all of us. Ever.
Just grant me the joy of being able to ventilate my hate for the things I hate once in a while. It makes the rest so much better. Everything is relative. If there were only good things in life we wouldn't appreciate it.
