In a bizarre twist of fate, David Gilmour has offered to perform 'Comfortably Numb' with Roger Waters on at least one occasion during Roger Waters forthcoming 'The Wall' tour.

Apparently, Gilmour asked Waters to perform a song ('To Know Him Is To Love Him') for a fundraising event for the http://www.hopingfoundation.org/ charity. Waters initially refused, fearing his lack of vocal ability but quickly changed his mind when Gilmour offered to perform 'Comfortably Numb' with Waters on his tour.
