Well, what can I say ...

Amazing ? Fantastic ? Mind Blowing ? Fandabbydosy ?

Probably all of the above & many more !!  ;D ;D ;D

This guy, at 67, definitely still has IT !!

I think he was geniunely stunned by the rapturous welcome he got. He played for 2 hours & 50 minutes & would have played longer if he was able to - unfortunately there is an 11pm limit, so he stopped at 11pm.

The setlist comprised songs from the Beatles, Wings & his solo career, but it was the well known Beatles songs that had the stadium jumping !! The singing along was quite incredible.
Oh ... the fireworks with Live & Let Die were stunning !

I think the thing that stands out is that he seems such a nice bloke - and is so at ease talking to the audience.

Highlights for me have to be Blackbird, Hey Jude & Yesterday !

Here's a link to the setlist : http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/paul-mccartney/2010/hampden-park-glasgow-scotland-3d415b3.html

I take it you enjoyed it OR. Bet it was great. I read McCartney's official biography "Many Years From Now" not long back and he came across as a pretty decent bloke.

Only two hours 50 minutes, not good enough !!!!

Thanks for the post, Jim.

Wow - two hours and fifty minutes is pretty impressive stuff. 8-)
