When I turn on an option to add a thread to favourites, the thread is added, it shows at the forum, but I also get (always) this error message:

Apologies for this error message.

I'll raise this with the YaBB developers. I know that since the upgrade to version 2.3.1, YaBB has started to use Ajax for certain functions, including notifications and adding favourites. I've already patched the forum with an unreleased Ajax script but this obviously isn't working as it should.

Bear with me, I'll update as soon as I can.

I have patched the forum with a new Ajax file which handles the adding of favourites and all should now be ok.

Please let me know if you (or anybody else) experience any further issues with adding favourite topics.

Thanks. :) I'll try to add this thread to favourities and I'll check if any error shows up.

EDIT: No error appeared. However, this thread added itself to favourities although it was already there. Nonetheless, it could be caused by the previous error - maybe it added the thread to my CP but didn't updated other related part.

The reason I think this is it is that I tried to post a new reply and the checkbox about favourities has been already checked. It seems probably only the threads added while there was an error are affected.

EDIT 2: Removal in user CP, removal by hitting the button while viewing a thread, as well as adding a thread by the button works OK. It seems it's fixed, indeed. :)

From what you've posted above, it appears that all is now working as it should. Let me know if you experience any further issues.

The SAM server lost it's connection late last night but managed to (eventually) recover it automatically. I'm going to investigate (although there is nothing in the error logs to indicate anything obviously wrong) when I have a moment as this has happened twice over the course of the last month or so.
