Indeed, Malmsteem is a fast player... I haven't heard much from him, but from what I heard it could be a good addition to the playlist Tux.

Have you ever heard of Joe Satriani (another excellent guitar player). Satriani created a Tour band named G3 and I think that Malmsteen was a guess on stage sometime... Here is a video
