Just in time for Summer!! HM 5
The new session is finally here! It has grown into a huge monster session - over 18 hrs of the finest collection of Progressive Rock, Jazz, Fusion, Classical, Weirdness - many, many tracks never before heard on S.A.!!! Starting and repeat times are as follows: Friday, 6 June @ 9:00pm (GMT) Sunday, 8 June @ 6:00pm (GMT) Wednesday, 11 June @ 2:00am (GMT) Thursday, 12 June @ 11:00am (GMT) Hope to see all of you there!! -HM [smiley=DJ.gif] |

All I will say in that regard Lumo..is that the session will begin on a classical note..based partially on one of the forum member's avatars. ::) There also will be a few tracks by the jazz fusionists Return to Forever - in honour of their 2008 Reunion Tour. He is indeed - I've met him once and nearly helped arrange a concert featuring him in the mid 80's - he had to back out the last minute, but payed us back by playing to our singles group of about 20 - Wow, what an incredible guitarist - esp. 2-3 feet away! :o and a genuine nice guy. Check out his Wikipedia site for more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Keaggy Glad you enjoyed his tracks - there are some other christian influenced tracks hidden in the session - Jon Anderson with 4Him, Kerry Livgren from his solo albums and quite a few Keaggy tracks, including one vocal. He has a very 'Paul McCartney' sound to his voice. |

I was up here til about 4 am EST last night, most of that time was spent listening to HMs session, the quality of which made it hard to actually *want* to go to bed. I'll be tuning in again tomorrow at 1 PM EST to catch the first few hours, which I missed. That'll still leave me with the last 6 or so hrs still to go!
