I came across this site from another site that recommended Northwind.

Northwind's original lineup are generously giving these downloads away. I thought I would try it out...because I had nothing to loose.

Wow!~! great stuff...and its under HEAVY rotation under my mp3 player.

If you like Starcastle you will like these guys!

They transferred all the music directly from vinyl and you do hear some; snap, crackle, pops but it adds to the character and time.

Thanks again for the tip, dyet. I'm enjoying the Northwind material. I've downloaded the first five tracks of Distant Shores and plan to continue.

Have now downloaded and listened to all of Distant Shores. Right up my alley! Will be moving on to the next batch of tracks up there....
