Original Asia... and John Payne's Asia
what has been very "sensitive" in the world of Asia... aka Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, John Wetton and Geoff Downes. Too summarize... Original Asia 1980's Heat of Moment fame - Steve Howe, Carl Palmer, John Wetton and Geoff Downes...is touring and making a new album.... Another Asia.... 1990's Asia - John Payne ....owns the name to Asia is releasing and touring under the name Asia too... they are both touring and releasing a new album in 2008 ... eeek!.... it will be interesting to see what 2008 brings about this situation.... but I guess... its similar to Amon Duul ,.....Amon Duul II Gong....Pierre Moerlin's Gong ... either way... great music all around!... but as a side note Erik Norlander will be playing the keys for the John Payne's Asia. stay tuned..... 8-) |
