Hi all, there's a track I heard a few years ago on a satellite rock station that I've never been able to identify. I know its a long shot, but maybe one of you PR heads mightg recognise this?

The main identifying mark of the track is that the vocals have been slowed down, and the guy sings 'Oh yeah, ha ha ha' (and more).

I know that's not much to go on, but there can't be many tracks in which the vocals are running at half speed!

I'm suspecting Zappa, any ideas anyone?

Not really, its ages since I heard it, although its rocky, and consists largely of the slowed-down vocals all the way through.

Sorry Andy, no idea...but doubt Zappa.
He has quite a few tracks with vocals sped up - but none I can recall that are slow all the way through.

P.S. If it was Zappa, it would be from the 'Were Only in it For The Money/Uncle Meat' period ('67-'68) - his lead vocalist left for a period of time, so he manipulated his own voice and double/triple tracked it to make it soung like many different voices

Of course its probably not Zappa!
