Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson plays on a song from Porcupine Tree’s new album. Robert Fripp of King Crimson is also said to be on the as yet untitled album, released via Roadrunner Records in April.

I know Neil Peart is a fan of PT so with Alex Lifeson's envolvement (assuming the above is correct) could we see PT on tour with Rush next year?

Tangerine Dream, the German electronic band who are currently celebrating their 40th anniversary, have dedicated a new album to the late Syd Barrett. Titled Madcap’s Flaming Duty, it arrives in April.

Great news indeed. I would love to see Porcupine Tree live, that and looking forward to the new album.

Would love to see PT get the opportunity to tour with Rush. Hopefully, this would provide them with the exposure they need to finally be recognized as one of the great rock bands of the last 15 years.
