Tikki 4, 3-D, Clock Moves Sideways....basically, any Fellini Days material, also, is there a playlist anywhere on the forum?

The live tracks playing at the moment are from 12th March 2003 in Northampton. This is the AoS part of  the warm-up show prior to the 2003 Marillion Convention.

No we're not. This is a live performance. The 2 exceptions are Misplaced Childhood and Brave both of which will be played in their entirety at some point. The rest of the session is made up of selected tracks plucked from the entire Marillion catalogue plus tracks from the various solo projects like Transatlantic, Kino, h band and of course Fish. There are also a few other live sets. The next one being from Hammersmith Odeon in 1984.

Cheers

Just found this and I'm somewhat confused (but happy). If this started at 21.00 GMT on 16th, and was a 24 Hour show, how come it's still going at 00.20 on 18th? Surely it should have finished over 3 hours ago? Is the whole thing being replayed?

A far more accurate link to use is this :-

http://s1.viastreaming.net/7170/

This is a direct parse from the server and provides the total amount of listeners online, live.

The ShoutCast directory, whilst being an invaluable tool in a lot of ways, is only updated every five minutes or so and is dependent on browser clicks for these updates. ShoutCast only reports 'unique' listeners. If you have for example, two listeners tuning-in from the same IP address ie. two people listening-in whilst at work and both working for the same company, this is only reported on ShoutCast as 'one' listener as there is technically only one IP address tuned-in. Also, you've probably noticed there is now a 'firewall friendly' tune-in link on the front page of the website. Listeners tuning-in using this link are all listed in the live sever logs as tuning-in from the same IP address. Since this link has gone live, there are on average around five listeners using this tune-in link at any given time. ShoutCast will report the total listeners tuned-in using the 'firewall friendly' link as one listener.

As an example, a quick comparison between between ShoutCast and the viastreaming stats page just now, shows us as having an extra six listeners tuned-in.

As far as the 'Marillion Marathon' has faired ...
  • Stellar Attraction was listed in the top 600 ShoutCast Stations - Worldwide on 19 occasions (you wil have to have WinAmp installed to access this list)

  • 12,484 listeners from 18 different countries tuned-in during the marathon

  • The Stellar Attraction Website attracted 24,789 hits in a single 24 hour period
Hats off to Silver - on a fantastic session !!!
