Dear all,

The bandwidth on the main 96 Kbps (broadband/high-speed) server was recently increased again to cope with the volume of listeners tuning-in.

Having kept an eye on the server stats this past week, I can see that even with this new increase, full capacity is being hit several times in any given day. I am therefore looking to have the bandwidth increased even further in the very near future to ensure listening pleasure is guaranteed for one and all.

Remember - if you can't tune-in due to the server being full, the 32 Kbps 'Dial-up' server is always far less busy.

I'll post in this thread as and when things materialise.

I suppose that depends on how large the audience becomes. But for the time being, yup.

This will mean that even more listeners can tune-in simultaneously at any one time and will ease the 'server full' frustration that I know some of you have been experiencing of late ...  >:(

Just a side note. If you have a broadband connection you can always cluster/relay the SA broadcast at busy times if you have the spare bandwidth. This costs nothing, but increases the number of slots available.
