Hello pno74 and welcome to the forum !!

It is certainly possible to have a higher bitrate stream but it's purely a question of cost. A stream higher than the current 96 kbps broadband stream would be far more expensive to run.

As more and more people start to tune-in, the stream is constantly hitting full capacity and I am going to increase the bandwidth again very soon. It will still be at 96 kbps but more people will be able to tune-in at any one time.

As far as I am aware, no other Progressive Rock Internet Radio broadcasts at such a high bitrate for free.

It would be great to have an even faster stream, but like I say - it's purely a question of cost.

Regards and I'm glad you are enjoying the music !!

Where would one click for the extra wide streaming delight?

The stream bitrate is still the same (96 Kbps @ 44.100 kHz in stereo) but the extra bandwidth means that the stream can now support more simultaneous listeners ... 8-)
