Silver,

Yup, some of the most recent posts have 'vanished' in the migration ...

Hello and good evening to you all!

Great again DC!--Thanks much!!

I would like to request a few songs.
First I must say that a repeat of the last program of a few weeks back would be great!

I would love to hear Billy Bruford's "One Of A Kind"!
Anything or all of it!!!---Also "Joe Frazier" on "Gradually Going Tornado"

Do you have a hit of "Close To the Edge" from Red Rocks?--Or Anything from Red Rocks?-That would be nice.

Otherwise, I'll be listening until tomorrow anyhows, cuz it's all good!!

DC!--Thanks for the great music that I've had the pleasure of listening to in the last few weeks!

To all of you there listening to this great, I want to offer you all a safe and enjoyable "next few weeks" (Holidays), with your families, or/and to the one's whom are special in your lives!!!!---Good care to you all!!!

                                               Resp.--Brent

Hey Brent !!

I think I have the version of 'Close To The Edge' that you're after and will add it to the playlist.

As for some Billy Bruford - I have one of 'Music for Piano and Drums' albums he did with Patrick Moraz. What do you think ? Worth playing ?

Keep listening !!

D.C.

Hi DC!

Tried to send you a message.
The Outlook thing I get doesn't cooperate.
Neither does my direct send on E-Mail.
Will figure that soon I hope!!
Had to tend to another loss of a familly member.
I'm getting used to this "Uncomfortably Numb" shuck!
Will be slamming axe tonight in dedication.--Goddang this Fluck!

Any Bruford is good !--Just heard Moraz as I come through the door.--Quite good!
Red Rock "Close" would relieve a bit of anger.
What is now on is fine though!
Going to slam this guitar now!

I'll be listening all night.--Great music!!

Good weekend to you DC!, and to all other peoples here!-------Resp.---------Brent

Hi Brent,

Sorry to hear about your family bereavement ...

Slamming the axe is always a good way to relieve any frustration - I hope that you've enjoyed the 'Yes Session'.

Cheers again my friend.

Hi DC!---Thanks for the kind words!
Got sideswiped by a cousin of a good friend less than 48 hours ago after leaving a 30 year renewal of vows of marriage..--A great time!!
14 hours past that crap, this same gentleman is now gone !!--Dead for driving under alcohol.--Really strange how small this world is as I read it in the paper and on radio.----RIP Phil!!

Would like to request to the good people here, PLEASE!!-PLEASE!! don't drive while in that condition!!
Shake those demons!!--I'm going through that process with pretty good results.--It sucks, and, it's quite hard!
I don't feel like a million bucks yet, but, 10 crisp 1 dollar bills isn't such a bad feeling.--PLEASE!!---Don't watch or let anyone drive away from anywhere in bad condition!!!
I didn't even know this man for more than 15 minutes and it still hurts!!!

WELCOME TO YOU BOG!!!!!!

DC?--Been some YES from Red Rocks in Colorado floating around.
Got a copy coming soon from one great friend from YESfans here in Kansas!.

Would like to hear "Close To The Edge" if you can.
Otherwise, Everything played here is quite wonderful!!

I'm not to picky!

Good day to you DC!, and want to wish for a safe and enjoyable Holiday season to you and to all members here at SA!---Resp!---Brent

[A Yes related post]

Earlier today I heard Conspiracy's 'The More We Live' (my favourite song on Yes' Union album by the way) which made me think, we need some World Trade played. Haven't heard their second album but the first is a corker!

Just joined, so I hope this goes OK.

Yes are my fave band; could you play anything from Drama?

Also Chris Squire's new/old band The Syn; could you play their new single Cathedral of Love?

Cheers!

Hi there Captain Squib and welcome to the forum !!

If 'Yes' are your favourite band then you've come to the right place ...  ;D

Which track from 'Drama' did you have in mind ?

If you didn't know already, there is going to be a 'Syn Session' tomorrow evening which will feature a wide selection of their music (including the radio version of 'Cathedral Of Love') and an interview I conducted with Steve Nardelli and Chris Squire. Look here for further info. :-

Please get hold of their new live album The Word Is Live as soon as you can Dee, and play plenty of that. Although its not officially released yet, 2 tracks have been played on another internet station, and its terrific! You'll love it, and all Yesheads here will be singing your praises from the rooftops!

I love Machine Messiah. I've always wanted to hear Jon have a go at singing it.

Personally, I can't see that happening but ... however, I would put money on hearing 'Machine Messiah' being played on the forthcoming 'More Drama Tour' with 'The Syn', 'Howe' and 'White' ... ;D
