Title: Roger Dean and a lack of recognition
Post by danrok on 13th Sep, 2009 at 12:26am
I'm sure most here know who Roger Dean is.

I think he should be considered to be one of the most influential artists of our time.

Why? For example, in the game World of Warcraft, played by millions, much of the scenery is obviously based on his concepts.  The same applies to the new movie Avatar.

Yet, he gets no real credit from those who copy his ideas, and not that many people would know who he is.
