Website and server fell over termporarily
10th Nov, 2008 at 11:23pm

Around 10:15 Aus Summer Time (I think we're UT+11 at the moment) on 11/11.
Straight after Baker St Muse (inc Pig Me and the Whore, Crash Barrier Dancer and a whole lot of other things to make a really long song name).

Did the length of the song name kill it when being placed onto the Recently Played list?

Hi there Andrew,

I was adjusting some settings on the website server and for these to take effect, I had to re-boot everything, I'm afraid. Apologies for not announcing this on-air (as I usually do) but it only took a few minutes and everything was back online and running again.

In the meantime, have no fear - there's no limit on the song length that's displayed on the website. Believe it or not, there are tracks with longer titles on the S.A. database. Wink Cool

Good o.
No problem. I have the same sort of issues at work with production computers needing "a quick reboot".

And was very neatly done at the end of the track...
