Went to see Steven Wilson last night in Glasgow at the O2 ABC. A great venue in that it's really quite small, so the band is quite close wherever you are !

He was playing songs from his latest solo album "The Raven that Refused to Sing" but also songs from from "Grace for Drowning" & "Insurgentes".

The gig was amazing, to say the least ! I took a couple of pals with me who hadn't heard Steven Wilson before & they were completely blown away !

The quality of the sound was awesome as was the musicianship of the band.

The final encore was a great version of Radioactive Toy - a nice one to finish on.

I thoroughly recommend going to see him if you get a chance - the guy is a Prog Rock God !!

Yup ! Raven .. came out on the 25th Feb - I got the blu-ray version which also came with a free MP3 download.

I haven't really had a good listen to it yet, but the concert has whet my appetite for all things Steven Wilson !!  ;D

Cool I am going to miss him in the Netherlands , the towns he plays are out of my league , trough I might have a chance to see him at a festival later this year but I am not sure I wil go there ... Depends on friends and so on ....
