**Upcoming Sessions - What's it all about?**

I want to tell you about some of the events planned for Stellar Attraction.

First of all I would like to introduce the *DJ Lithium Sessions*

Regular listeners will already be familiar with the excellent sessions and playlists compiled by ProgMaster Dee and our resident DJ's, Silver and Heracleum Mantegazziani.

With the great number of diverse artists, both familiar and unfamiliar to us all Stellar Attraction continues to cater for tastes not always found on other online radio stations (not that you should be looking!) ;)

My own humble contribution will initially be a compilation of sessions leaning towards a more mainstream Rock Programme, but still dipping into the realms of our loved Prog Rock.

Expect tracks from such well known legends as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Blue Oyster Cult, as well as a sprinkling of such unforgettables as Hawkwind, Elf and many more.

I plan to cover material which would not necessarily be found on a Greatest Hits album, but that's not say that some of the big well known songs will be ignored.  Expect some classics too!

First up will be a "Mellow" Session which will be broadcast in the next week or two, followed very quickly by another, more traditional "Rock" affair.  Dee will schedule this and let you know exactly who, what, when and where! :) :)

In addition there will be the introduction of the *Featured Album Sessions*.

This will be pretty straight forward really....

To begin this series I will host a couple of sessions featuring just one album in each.  Should this attract some interest, the plan is to take requests from yourselves, the listeners, to decide for us which album to play on Stellar Attraction as a Featured Album.

All we ask is for you to...

Pick an album which you feel should merit playtime.  Write a short piece on why it should be featured, telling us what this album means to you etc..  Things like why did you chose it...?  Do any of the songs have a particular relevance or meaning to you....?  Stories you may have related to the music or band about this album. (these are all just suggestions...you can make up your own!) ;D

You get the picture, we're not looking for an album review, just some input from yourselves that gives us a better understanding of your choice of album. :)

*if we don't have a particular album of your choice, it may be necessary to send it to us*



Don't forget to check out our very next DJ Session by Heracleum Mantegazziani which promises to be great one!!  um..sorry, no excuses allowed...crack open the "tipple" of your choice and listen in!!!   ;D :o
